Tim Eagle MSP has announced that due to overwhelming interest he has changed the venue of the forthcoming public meeting on the Moray FLOW-Park from Forres Town Hall to the Universal Hall, The Park, Findhorn.
The meeting timing of 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday 11th November remains the same.
Mr Eagle also confirmed that a satellite venue has been organised at Nairn Community Centre, and the meeting will be livestreamed to that venue.
Tim Eagle MSP said: "There has been overwhelming public interest and I want to ensure that as many people as possible can participate. As such, I decided to change the in-person venue to the Universal Hall in Findhorn and the meeting will be livestreamed to Nairn Community Centre.
"If people plan to attend the Universal Hall meeting in-person, I would advise they come reasonably early and, if possible, share transport to mitigate parking concerns.
"I am very grateful to the Universal Hall for agreeing to host the meeting and for providing the live-streaming facility."
Mr Eagle added that he would be happy to accept questions in advance, particularly from those people planning to attend the Nairn satellite venue where it wont be possible to ask question on the night, but it does provide a local base for people to come together and listen in.
"I'm keen to facilitate as many questions as possible, including from Nairn as well as from people across Moray, which is why I hope people who live in or around Nairn to consider taking the opportunity of joining remotely from the Nairn Community Centre where we plan to have a large screen so that people can clearly see and hear the proceedings.
"If you wish to lodge a question in advance please send it to me at: [email protected] and if there are still questions unanswered at the end of the meeting I will forward them on for answering later."
Mr Eagle confirmed that senior representatives of the developer Offshore Solutions Group, including its chief executive WIll Rowley, and of Crown Estate Scotland will be attending in person and will answer questions put to them by the audience.
Mr Eagle said that he would encourage interested people to check his website - www.timeagle.org.uk - for updates and to register their interest in attending by emailing him at [email protected].
